On Saturday morning we got up and got ready and walked to Starbucks and got a coffee. We caught a cab and went to Central Park and shopped at Bergdorf Goodman, we went inside the Plaza Hotel and took pictures, and we saw lots of little girls looking for Eloise. We then took a carriage ride in Central Park. Our horse was Spartacus. We walked to Times Square and looked around there and then we had lunch At Lanigan's Irish pub. We walked all around the theater district. We went to the August Wilson Theater and saw the play Jersey boys. It was awesome. Tickets were $200 apiece.
After the play we stopped at EE grill house and had a drink. We then walked to the Empire State building. We bought our tickets from a guy on the street. He said they were express tickets and went to the 102nd floor. Big mistake! We did get to ride the sky ride which was similar to soaring over California at Disneyland but not nearly as good. After that we waited in line forever to ride the elevator to the 86th floor. The night time views were amazing but it was freezing cold and windy. We caught a taxi back to the hotel. We freshened up and then went to Mr. K’s Chinese restaurant for dinner. The decor was beautiful. Cost was about $150. We came back to the hotel about midnight and crashed.
