We got up and went to breakfast at Bouchon Bakery. Then we went to Darioush Winery. What a truly beautiful place! We joined the wine club and had a case sent home. We went to lunch at Auberge du Soleil….we had lobster salad and a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay. Then we went to Cardinale Winery…it was interesting to find out that it started out as Kendall Jackson…..our favorite everyday wine. Then we went to White Hall Lane Winery and Hall Winery. We had dinner at Rutherford Grill. Chris Carpenter is a bartender there…..he is also the wine maker at Cardinale. After dinner we went back to the hotel…..we sat by the fire pit next to the river….but they only serve wine and beer and we were quite frankly wined out.
