We got up at 3:00 AM to catch the 6:05 AM flight. We had a connection in Dallas with a four hour layover before completing our journey to Sacramento. We had lunch on the plane since we flew first class on American Airlines. Our tickets were about $600 a piece.
We got to Sacramento a few minutes late. We picked up the rental car.
We loaded the luggage and headed to River Terrace Inn in Napa. Our rooms were not ready. So we headed to Caymus Winery. One of our favorite Caymus Wines is Conundrum.
Next we went to Pine Ridge Winery, followed by Plumpjack Winery.
We went back to the hotel and were assigned to room 333. It was a spacious room…..with a view of the Napa River. The first night was $279, next night was $538 and the last night $598. In my opinion, quite overpriced!
We went our 5:30 PM reservation at the French Laundry. We left the restaurant at 9:00 PM. The price of the meal for the two of us was $860!
