2018 may 13 Heading to Valdosta Georgia
2018 Florida May 13-22
In July 2017, we booked a 5-night vacation at Animal kingdom lodge May 14-18 …cost for the savannah view room, 4 three day passes to the parks and the memory maker was $4997.90.
The girls arrived on Saturday evening May 12 and we went to Taytros Bistro for dinner. The best part of the evening was when Steve paid the bill. He used his Amex card which is made of metal. The waitress said…I had to ask what this is and the others said a Platinum card…she throws back her head and dips…NICE. The girls laughed and laughed and for the rest of the vacation…that was the go to funny! We got home and they showered. We watched Momma Mia…and it made me so happy because those girls knew every single word…lol Then we watched pitch perfect 3.
On Sunday morning May 13, we got up at 5 and were indeed on the road by 6:30. We stopped at McDonalds for breakfast. Things went smoothly until we got to Chatanooga….it took us two hours to make it through. We stopped at Wendy’s at 4 and arrived in Valdosta about 8 pm. It had been a really long day…and we were all tired. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn. The room was nice.
