Tuesday may 15, We got up at 6:30 to catch the bus to Animal kingdom park. We had breakfast at Rainforest café. Steve had bacon and eggs, I had eggs benedict, and the girls had wild waffle and Tonga toast. $80 They brought Sloane a birthday cupcake.
We went into the park and rode Expedition Everest. It was amazing. Stacey called with a school issue for Shelbie that she had to get straightened out. Then we rode the Kali river rapids. We went to finding Nemo the musical. Steve and the girls had Mickey ice cream bars…$15. The girls met Goofy and Donald. Then we rode Dinosaur. We went to the 2:00 show of the festival of the lion king…we waited 40 minutes in line…got seated…and at 2:10 were informed it was cancelled. Then we went to meet Pocahontas. Then we went to Pandora. It began to storm. We had 4:55 fast pass so we walked around looking at pandora. We rode Flight of passage…the best ride EVER!
My back pack disintegrated so I was on a mission to find a new one. I did find one in Africa that was appropriate.
We had 6:00 dinner reservations at Tiffin’s. Steve and Shelbie had venison, Sloane had swordfish and I had duck breast…the total was $390. It was very nice and the girls enjoyed it very much.
We had VIP seating for the Rivers of light show at 9. It poured down rain the entire time however…it was beautiful.
We caught the bus back to the resort, the girls showered and we went to bed.
