Thursday May 17, is our resort day. I got up at 7:30…then Shelbie, then Steve, then Sloane. We had lunch at the maara….and walked around the resort taking pictures. The girls and I went shopping. I needed to get Stacey and Saylor something. We went on the wanyama safari. Unfortunately, it rained but It was very good. Then we had dinner at Jiko. It was family style African food. It included a wine pairing…but they did not substitute the wine for the girls so all they had was water. When we got back to the room there was a beautiful rainbow! Unfortunately, later we all got sick from our dinner. I don’t think the spices agreed with us. The cost of the safari and dinner was $824.
