Tuesday, May 22, we got up at 6:30 and had breakfast at the hotel. We started the final leg of the journey home. We stopped for pictures and post cards in Kentucky and got home about 2:30. We picked up the dog and I started the laundry…. this will take a while…lol We went to pogolinos for dinner.
This was an amazing trip. Yes…It rained every single day…yes it was expensive…We spent about $8000….and had 4 free nights in hotels because of Steve’s diamond status at Hilton. But it was truly worth every penny. We did not have one bad moment…. we laughed and hugged…and just enjoyed being together. It makes me sad to think about taking the girls home tomorrow and I thought I would be ready to take them home. It is good to be home. I missed my animals and I am sure they missed me as well. But this trip is one We will never forget and will treasure forever.
